If you play One Page Rules' Grimdark Future or its skirmish sibling Firefight, you already know the best part of the hobby: the rules let you build whatever army you can imagine. Your models just have to look the part. That's where conversion bits come in, and it's what we make at BW Terrain & Forge.
We design original, third-party grimdark sci-fi bits sized for 28–32mm heroic-scale miniatures: helmets, heads, shoulder pads, weapons, backpacks, symbols and full character kits. They're designed to One Page Rules scale, so you can build your own order of space knights, a clan of cyber samurai or a mob of space orcs from the ground up, or raid the bits box and kitbash them into whatever project is on your desk.
This guide walks through scale, which ranges suit which One Page Rules armies, how our armor codes work and the three ways to buy.
Bits sized for armored space knights
Our Space Knights parts are sized for 28–32mm heroic-scale armored infantry: the models One Page Rules fields as Battle Brothers, plus the larger Prime Brothers. Heads, shoulder pads, weapon hands and backpacks are all separate parts, so you can mix and match them across a squad.
Plenty of hobbyists also kitbash our parts with kits from all over their bits box. Every kit is a little different, so test fit before you glue. A dab of green stuff or a quick drill-out of a socket usually sorts out any gap.
Because every part is an original design, you get the look of a heavily armored sci-fi warrior without your army being a copy of somebody else's studio paint scheme. Mix our helmets with your own kits, or build an entire force from our parts and give it a name nobody else at the table has.
Pick your army
Each range below is a full themed collection: helmets, pads, weapons, symbols and character pieces designed to look like they came off the same forge.
- Space Knights: our largest range. Power-armored knights in every armor mark from V1 to V10, with dated helmet drops, shoulder pads, weapons, backpacks and squad symbols. Plays as Battle Brothers or Prime Brothers.
- Cyber Samurai: armored warriors rebuilt as samurai, with laced sode shoulder pads, techno katanas, tetsubo, sashimono banners and oni shields. Plays as Battle Brothers.
- Space Orcs: scrap-forged brutes, attack beasts and clan symbols for a loud, green, mismatched mob. Plays as Orc Marauders.
- Arthurian Knights, Crusader Knights and Dragon Knights: medieval and fantasy themes for space knight orders that wear their legends on their armor.
- Mongolian Knights, Red Ronin and Orc Busters: smaller themed sets for riders, ronin and dedicated orc hunters.
- Pride Marines, Grimdark Americana and Academic Apocalypse: themed kits for when you want your army to have a sense of humor.
- The Corrupted and Glam Fiends: twisted, fallen knights for players fielding Havoc Brothers.

Scale and armor codes explained
Everything is designed for 28–32mm heroic scale, the chunky, slightly exaggerated proportions used by most grimdark wargaming miniatures. Heads, hands and weapons are a touch oversized on purpose so they read well on the table.
Our Space Knights parts are tagged with an armor code so you can match helmets, pads and backpacks from the same armor "mark":
- V1 Exterminator: the oldest, cobbled-together plate.
- V2 Metal Storm, V3 Warrior, V4 Savage, V5 Defiance and V6 Stroud: successive early-to-mid armor marks, from riveted plate to sleek scout armor.
- V7 Iron Eagle: the mark our Cyber Samurai bushi pads are built around.
- V10K Knight, V10B Brawler and V10R Reaper: modern armor for line troops, close-assault veterans and fast raiders, these are perfect for Prime Brothers armies.
- DV4 Destroyer: heavy armor for your biggest, toughest elite infantry.
Use one mark across a squad for a uniform look, or mix marks for a veteran company patched together from whatever the armory had left. You can filter any collection by armor on the store.
Three ways to buy: Grey Resin, STL or SPEEDY Resin
- Grey Resin: we print it for you in sharp, display-quality resin, with every part separate (no sprue). Printed to order, so allow about 4–6 weeks before it ships.
- Digital STL: instant download after payment, supplied unsupported so you can support and print it your way. Print as many as your army needs for personal use.
- SPEEDY Resin: our concierge option when you can't wait. A $10 deposit gets us hunting for a print partner near you, and you get a quote with price, shipping and delivery date before anything prints.
Not sure which is right for you? Our builder's guide covers resin versus STL, prepping parts, test fitting and painting in detail.
Building for Firefight
Firefight armies are small, so every model matters. That makes it the perfect game for conversion bits: you only need a handful of helmets, a unique weapon or two and a character kit to give each warrior a personality. Start with a character kit for your leader, then add mixed helmets and a couple of special weapons so every model on the board is obviously its own fighter.
