Oni are the horned demons of Japanese folklore. This towering shield wears a snarling oni face, so the enemy has to stare down a demon before they reach the warrior behind it.
This version is held in the right hand, which leaves the left free for a sword or spear from the same army. Pick up the left-hand version to face shield walls both ways.
Complete the set: Oni Mega Shield (Left)
What's in the set
- Oni mega shield
- Sized for 28–32mm heroic-scale armored infantry
How to fit it
Comes with a right hand already attached. Carefully clip the stock right hand off your model at the wrist, sand the cut flat, and glue this one in its place. For a stronger joint, drill both pieces and pin them with a short length of wire or a cut paperclip.
Build ideas
Pair it with an energy tetsubo or katana for a frontline champion, or give a whole unit oni shields for a demon-faced shield wall.
Grimdark Future: Counts as a Shield upgrade in One Page Rules' Grimdark Future and Firefight.
