Samurai wore sashimono, tall banners on their backs, so commanders could pick out units across a battlefield. This one marks your sergeants and champions the same way.
This version is held in the right hand as a carried standard. Use the no-hand version to mount it on a back, or the left-hand version to mirror a pair of standard bearers.

How to fit it
Comes with a right hand already attached. Carefully clip the stock right hand off your model at the wrist, sand the cut flat, and glue this one in its place. For a stronger joint, drill both pieces and pin them with a short length of wire or a cut paperclip.
Build ideas
Paint each squad's flag in its own color to make units easy to tell apart on the table.
