V5 Defiance armor is studded, hard-wearing plate from the era when knights held the line against impossible odds.
These are the Type D pads: a domed V5 Defiance shell covered in streamlined capped-cone studs, sleeker nodules rather than the jagged spikes of V4 Savage, with a stepped panel line across the face, three slot vents and a round slotted screw-head fitting low on the front. What sets Type D apart is smaller stepped notches along the front edge plus two notches cut into the bottom rim. That makes it a rugged, field-cut pad for assault troops and veterans.
Complete the set: Type A (notched front edge) · Type B (clean, no notches) · Type C (front notches + center notch)

How to fit it
Each pad works on the left or right arm. Trim any support nubs, sand the inside face lightly, and glue the pad over a shoulder joint that has no pad. Test-fit first: a little green stuff in the joint lets you set the pad at any angle.
Build ideas
Give each squad its own Type so units read apart at a glance, or mix Types inside a squad to mark sergeants and veterans. Combine with the other V5 Defiance parts for a full squad in matching plate.
