Samurai armor protected the shoulders with sode, layered plates laced together. These DV4 Destroyer bushi pads rebuild them in hard sci-fi plate for your heaviest Cyber Samurai: stacked horizontal plates bound with rows of cord lacing, under a flared, curved crown plate.
Type A sets a large round grilled vent, with horizontal cooling slats, into the center of the laced plates, like a heat exchanger bolted onto old-school sode.

Build ideas
Give Type A to heavy weapons troops or anyone carrying a big power source. Mix the A–D styles across a squad for variety, or give each squad its own Type so they read as separate units.
